I submit

I'm sad and tired
Of expecting things to change

I'm just living for the memory
Completely out of range
In this world I can't maintain company

I keep saying it's not worth the fight
Just as I've said a hundred times before
I can see where this is going
I don't think I can take this anymore,

I'm headed for a train wreck
I don't have the will to slow down
I've grown despondent and weary
I smile all the time
Only because I've grown tired of my frown.

I never ask for help
Because I know it's something
No one can,
No one
Will
Give

I understand that we all have
Our own lives we're trying to live.

Someday I might call
In spite of all I know,
But even here
Even now
I can foresee how that would go...

I'd call out for help,
After these many years I'd call out, finally
Call out to someone
To anyone

'Save me...Please'
And the only answer I get
Will be the sound of my voice echoing
In this empty forest I've grown,
Amidst the barren tress.

The world is cold
And mine is snow
And Ice and searing rain
Burning isn't comforting
My world is dulled with pain.

I can see the wreck I'm headed for
But I have no more energy
I wish someone would come along
I wish from this
Someone someday, somewhere
Will rescue me.

I'm tired of fighting, and if I can't even fight for me how can I possibly want someone else to fight for me.
I can see where this will lead. I don't want to be, but it looks like I'll be that girl. The one who wont pick herself back up...It'll be too late to help myself by then...It's not a matter of if at this point just a matter of when.

I see it coming.

That's the worst part.

I think we all have those day where don't want to pick our selves up again where we want to stop fighting. here is the important thing though you are not the only one to feel this way at times. You are not a lone. One is never a lone we only think we alone.
